Belgium-Based Ghanaian Artiste Nana Baafour (Brave King) Issues Furious Statement to NPP Party Chairman and Members

The time for polite conversations has passed. This is a moment for unfiltered truth, and I write with a heavy heart filled with anger and frustration. As a proud Ghanaian in the diaspora, living in Belgium, I feel compelled to address the leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and, by extension, the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Let me be unapologetically blunt: WE ARE TIRED! This is not just my voice but the collective cry of countless young African diasporas who have been pushed to their limits by the political gamesmanship that has characterized governance in Ghana for far too long. For years, we have watched in dismay as successive governments turned leadership into a playground of power struggles, empty promises, and utter disregard for the people they claim to serve. You have toyed with our lives, dashed our hopes, and trampled on our futures. Governance should be about progress, development, and the well-being of the citizenry, but instead, it has become a theater of betrayal. Your endless excuses, lack of accountability, and inability to address the pressing needs of ordinary Ghanaians have left us disillusioned and enraged. The harsh realities faced by our families back home rampant unemployment, rising costs of living, and crumbling public services are a direct result of your failures. Meanwhile, you sit comfortably in positions of privilege, detached from the suffering of the very people who put you in power. Enough is enough! We are no longer willing to tolerate the gross mismanagement and incompetence that have become synonymous with your leadership. This is not a plea; it is a demand for action. We demand accountability, transparency, and a government that prioritizes the needs of its people over political games. The lives of Ghanaians are not pawns in a game of political chess. We will no longer sit idly by while you play with our futures. The time for change is now. This is a call to action for every Ghanaian whether at home or abroadnto rise and demand the leadership we deserve. To the NPP and NDC: understand this clearly the days of silent suffering are over. The young people of Ghana and the diaspora will not rest until we see real, tangible change. The ball is in your court, but let this be your final warning: our patience has run out.
