PRIMARY SCHOOL PUPILS FORCED TO STUDY IN PUBLIC TOILET. Pupils of Drobo-East Demonstration Primary and Junior High School in the Jaman South-District in the Brong-Ahafo are forced to study in an abandoned toilet building.  This, according to Henry Afful, the assembly man for the area is due to lack of classroom blocks for the pupils.  In an interview with Akroma Deefour, he indicated that petitions written to the immediate past District Chief Executive for Jaman South, Hon Tamea Dora about the issue proved futile.  The headmaster of Demonstration Primary and JHS, Emmanuel Kyereh confirming the incident said the toilet facility was built in the 1960’s for Drobo Senior High School and now been used as classrooms for the pupils to ease congestion.  He added that the situation is affecting teaching and learning as students have to battle with cockroaches and other insects during classes hours hence calling on the government for immediate attention.
