Veteran actor Fred Amugi has disclosed that some movie producers in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region have sidelined him in their production after several years of working together . Despite his rich experience in the industry, the actor said he did not know why producers have failed to hand him roles. “Those who know my rich experience in the movie industry cast me in their movies. It is producers and directors in Kumasi who have sidelined me, which I don’t understand. The truth is that I started shooting Kumawood movies with them…but I don’t get their invitations anymore,” he lamented in an interview with Ray Charles Marfo on Adehye 99.1FM. Mr Amugi further stated that he would be happy to work with Kumasi movie producers and directors because he still has a lot to offer the industry
