Knii Lante, Ras Kuuku & Kojo Kombolo to play 1st edition of Accra Reggae Weekend on September 3

Roots Addiction, 4Syte TV and MUSIGA have sealed a deal with reggae, dancehall and afrobeats artistes, Knii Lante, Ras Kuuku and Kojo Kombolo to stage the very first Accra Reggae Weekend event slated for Friday 1st September to Sunday 3rd September in Accra. The three-night, three-venue, weekend-long event that would be a monthly affair will be hosted by Roots and Soul, Dansoman on Friday, Champs Sports Bar and Grill in Paloma on Saturday and Bermuda Bar in Abelemkpe on Sunday. According to Kwasi Nyarko Ofei aka Root Eye, Director Reggae Department of MUSIGA, the line up has been inspired by the quest to put the best foot forward ‘since massive energy would be needed to power the circuit that would establish reggae music as the new cool’ he stated. Rapper D-Black has reacted to the notion that he never faced poverty when growing up as a young boy. The Black Avenue Muzik boss on Celebrity Ride With Zionfelix chronicled some of the hardships he went throw as a kid. Desmond Blackmore on the show hosted by celebrity blogger and radio presenter Zionfelix admitted that all was well for his nuclear family until his parent’s marriage hit the rock. According to him, his late dad was chairman of Olympics committee so “I could say he was well to do”. Confusion hits Ebony Reigns’ camp, Bullet angry over her behaviour

One of Ghana’s finest Afro-Dancehall songstresses, Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng also known as Ebony Reigns » could be sacked from her record label, Rufftown Records/Midas Touch Inc., headed by Bullet of Ruff N Smooth. The 20-year-old singer, who is currently leading the female pack in Ghana, is said to have been constantly exhibiting gross misconduct at her label and would not adhere to any advice or directives from her manager, Bullet . Ever since Ebony hit the limelight, she’s said to have been rude towards her manager and other management members. A source close to her camp told Pulse.com.gh » that Bullet is mad at her for constantly breaching their contract and may soon terminate her contract if she remains obdurate. Nana Osei Bonsu was born and raised in Ghana, Greater Accra but hails from the Ashanti region. He developed the passion for music at a very tender age. Music was a constant fixture in NOB's life while growing up due to the fact that his dad was a bass-guitarist and a music producer back in the day with DAMFO DOMINO PRODUCTIONS. Early Life N.O.B was born on 7, December 1991 in Greater Accra. He comes from a large family of 5 with 4 sisters. N.O.B is an initial of his Real name i.e. Nana Osei Bonsu. He started singing at the age of  five with his dad being a huge influence and primary source of interest towards the art. As he began listening to several top African acts at the time. Femi Kuti, Kojo Antwi, Brenda Fassie, Youssou N'Dour and  many more, N.O.B developed a sound like no other.  Listening to people like Kojo Antwi helped shape the artist that he is today and with the wisdom and knowledge of the music industry his dad had, the script was written and nothing was ever go
