Celebrated Ghanaian Traditional Musician, Israel Maweta, has been named one of the key Panelists to join renowned Musicologist/Lecturer, Professor John Collins, at a Borborbor Symposium on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at the University of Ghana, Legon. Starting from 9:30am through to 3:00pm, the theme set for the gathering is “Innovation and General Changes in Borborbor Dance-Drumming of The Ghanaian Ewe Youth”. Venue is Kwabena Nketia Conference Hall, Institute of African Studies, University of Ghana, Legon campus.
