Ghanaian musician and songwriter Ben Brainy, who is signed to Hometown Records, has addressed the ongoing debate about the influence of Nigerian music on Ghanaian artists. Speaking on Starr FM with Mr. Kaxtro over the weekend, he dismissed claims that young Ghanaian musicians are deliberately imitating the Nigerian sound. Instead, he attributed this perception to the heavy exposure of Nigerian songs in Ghana.
