Nana Ama Dadzie, professionally known as NANA AMA, is a revered Ghanaian backing vocalist, composer, and singer. Her remarkable contributions to the Ghanaian music scene over the past decades have earned her recognition and accolades, notably by the 3Music Awards Women’s Brunch in 2021.

Born in Accra, Ghana, Nana Ama pursued her secondary education at Winneba Secondary School and also received formal training at the National Symphony Orchestra Ghana. Her talent and dedication led her to perform on songs like Okomfour Kwaadee’s "Abro Ne Bayie" and Lord Kenya’s award-winning "Medo," which claimed the coveted "Song of the Year" title at the Ghana Music Awards in 2002.
