Tina Mensah, well known by her stage name Elivava The African Gold (Elivava), is an Afro Pop Afro Jazz recording artist, singer, songwriter, performer and choreographer. She is a native of New Baika in the Buem District of the Volta Region of Ghana. After working as a background singer and choreographer with most of the top and popular, local and international artistes, such as Ebo Taylor, Teddy Osei and the Osibisa band, Rocky Dawuni, Ally Keita, Stevie Wonder, Kojo Antwi, Afro Moses, Samini, VIP and Atongo, Elivava gathered extensive experience and went solo. Elivava's debut solo performance was in June 2005 at Fête de la Musique, a music event held at Alliance Française in Accra - Ghana.
