The impact and support of the heartfelt souls of the soil of the land is worth the price paid on human breath. 


The 2nd of March 2017 marks a day set aside as part of the University of Professional Studies Ladies Week Celebration to impact the Kayaye women of Madina. An initiative front lined by The Women's Commission, Hyperlink Promo Ghana and The Berla Mundi Foundation dubbed, 'Charity Trip With Berla Mundi'. 


The project took off from the school premises around 9am and headed towards the Madina market. Involving the teams of the various bodies and ultimately the woman of valour 'Berla Mundi' all seated in the bus. 

 

The sun rose to it peak as the team had an impactful interaction and intriguing conversation with the strong women at heart. The Kayaye women paid attention to the advice and what information the team brought to their table. They however had an exciting energy to reach a part of the donation materials to be given to them. 


Crowning the project, the teams donated few items such as drinks, biscuits, head pans, mentral pads, diapers, food items, cash including few others. 

'We have accepted your gift in good faith and we have also duely taken your advice, we would work harder for our generations to come and save for the future' said Rakia, the head of the Kayaye association in Madina.
