- Shatta Wale's father has written to the CID to investigate prophesies of his son's death

- He urged those who have prophesies about his family to contact him and not go public with them

Mr. Charles Mensah Senior, father to the highly popular dancehall artist, Shatta wale, has reportedly written to the Ghana Police Service's Criminal Investigations Department (CID) to look into prophesies of his superstar son's death.

During a recent interview, Mr. Charles Mensah revealed that he petitioned the police service's investigative body following a prophesy made by a Kasoa based prophet that his son would take his own life due to frustration.

Mr. Charles Mensah, who was speaking to Prince Tsegah on Hits FM's Showbiz Fylla, urged prophets who believe they have prophesies concerning members of his family to contact him instead of going public with it.

Mr. Charles Mensa went on to say that his son is a true reflection of himself, and even showed the show host a copy of the letter he had written to the Ghana Police Service's CID.

When you want to churn out any negative thing about [any member of his family] they have to be very careful...People should give me a break,” said the dancehall artist's father.

The prophecy concerning Shatta Wale's allegedly suicide came in the wake of Shatta Wale's threat to burn down churches come December if he is still alive.

A threat that was inspired by yet another prophesy about Shatta Wale's death, one that came not too long after the death of fellow dancehall artist, Ebony Reigns.
